i have muscle pain..
thank God i can still walk to the computer and check my mailbox..
*whew*
ive tried something for the (hmmm.. not so..) first time yesterday..
together with Meling and Cookie..
we went Kayaking at Nabulod (i hope im right..) River in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental..
aaahh..
Anything with water and the sun..
even if i only had 2 hours of sleep..
even if i wasnt able to remove the make-up on my face from last night's "catching up on things" in Karumata, i didnt care..
i told myself..
i have to go..
i must!!!
as so..
in to the water..
under the heat of the sun..
with some sun block and some vanilla-scent tanning lotion we went..
paddling..
and paddling..
and some more..
then our first stop..
(aaaah.. finally.. my thighs and back hurts)
under a huge tree..
we enjoyed the short chat with the wind, cool water on our feet and 3 rounds of..
guess what?
TUBA!!! (with a little coke)
its was another first for me..
but it was really good..
then.. after the 3rd round of TUBA..
we paddled a little more..
then some more rest..
we went..
shroom-picking..
(dont worry.. im not yet a convert of Meling's.. the TUBA was enough for the day..)
it was fun but short coz we had to hurry before the tide goes low..
so off again..
we paddled again..
this time in a narrow passage..
Cookie calls it "the safari"..
but i thought it was more like the Amazon..
mini Amazon River that is..
plus minus the Anaconda..
hahaha..
then..
another round or two of TUBA..
after that..
we paddled again..
and reached a muddy dead end..
(hmmm.. we thought)
but theres no way we are going back..
so what we did..
we carried the the kayaks (my back! OUCH!) in to a little shortcut back to the sea shore..
the sand wasnt that friendly..
it almost fried our feet..
but we cant tiptoe our way..
we had to run..
run even if the kayak was heavier than me..
then we paddled back to the starting line..
hehehe..
then we rested..
bathed..
i.. rested my back..
aaaaah..
the water and the sun..
perfect combination..
then it was chow time..
YUM!
pork and cabbage..
and some mechado..
hehehe..
(more rice please.. i was really hungry.. and meling too..)
then..
we finished the last of the TUBA..
"one for the road, ling!"
weee..
it was one hell of a day..
but..
it was worth all the pain..
for the TUBA..
and the never ending paddling..
for the sun..
and for my tan..
hahaha..
hope to do this again..
